Born and raised in the Carré Rive Gauche district of Paris, Alexandra de La Tour d’Auvergne grew up in the heart of a world defined by antique dealers and art galleries, where her eye was trained from an early age through contact with creative works and materials.

From childhood, she took painting classes in the workshops of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at the Louvre, developing an early and instinctive connection with color, gesture, and composition.

Driven by a deep passion for garden art and the botanical world, she undertook studies to become a landscape architect. This approach to living things, natural rhythm, and the relationship between humans and their environment became a fundamental cornerstone of her career. She subsequently founded her company, Vert le Jardin S.A., to fully practice this profession.

Now based in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, Alexandra develops a multifaceted artistic practice: painting on canvas and paper, murals, and collages. Plant life occupies a central place in her work, serving as a living memory, a breath, and an organic language.
